SanaaThat looks so good! I have never attempted these.
NimmyWill it melt if kept in room temperature for long or is it necessary to keep them in a fridge.
LejnaHey Sanaa, your truffles look beautiful!!! Super!
LejnaNimmy, it won't melt if kept in room temperature ... But it would be better to ensure its not kept out for long.
Diluckshnieisn't this too bitter? i see dark chocolate in the recipe and no sugar.
SanaaOh right, I added sugar. I think Lejna may have forgotten to write it.
LejnaDiluckshnie I didn't add sugar,as it wasn't in the recipe and it didn't taste bitter. What I used was Bournville and along with the cream it tastes good.
LejnaSanaa I didn't add at all ya :-) but I liked the taste, but one can add as per their preference, but addition of sugar may make the mix softer so more o chocolate or less of cream.
LejnaAh,ya Bournville is just 45%.... So ya if the mix is too bitter then sugar is a must!
LejnaSorry folks as I had used Bournville I didn't think about the truffle getting too bitter, so if you are using a very bitter chocolate then do add sugar as per your preference.
MediniAttempting this one today!
SanaaIt's super awesome Medini! I rolled some in coconut, and some in nuts to add more texture.
MediniAh super. I'm a little concerned about the consistency of the ganache. I need to be able to make balls out of them and roll them in cocoa no?
SanaaIt will set when you keep it in the fridge.
MediniOkie. Fingers crossed. Will let you know how it goes!
